Excitement in a Small Town

I live in a town of 26,000 people. Not very big, not a whole lot goes on here. When I had my car accident today the police officer on the scene didn't finish the report because he got a call about a dead body and someone brandishing a gun. I can understand that (that he had to leave because of that). I phoned the police station later to find out when my report would be ready for pick up. I didn't identify myself, the report number or anything. She said 5:30. I said "I didn't identify myself. There was only one car accident today?" Yup. And how often do we have someone brandishing a gun in our town? Uh, never. So considering that, this was probably the extent of the incidences that occurred in our town today. This would probably be considered an eventful day. LOL!
