Spoiler alerts 2015 Mammoth / Robinson’s Press In 1150 a devout Catholic monk is abducted by a UFO. The story runs like a standard account of alien encounter/contact/abduction, but the Monk is unable to interpret the benevolent aliens as anything but demons from Hell. They try to talk of science and biology.. He fails to see why they don’t just want to discuss theology and divinity. He refuses their food and they take him home safely in frustration at getting no practical responses. The monk writes up history for the monastic abbots but it is suppressed and when found later in the Vatican archives in the 1980’s it is supressed again as the UFO craze is by then in full swing. An interesting angle on a fairly standard story premise. Arthur Chappell

OFO stories are interesting. The fact that someone can be abducted and the brought back to the planet safely can get people interested.

@arthurchappell I am not really into these kinds of stories but this one sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing.
