Okay...Admit it. You Do it All The Time....

Eat fast food, that is. Do you? I know a lot of people who refuse to admit that they have ever darkened the door of a fast food joint. (What a shock it must be to them when they first discover that nobody really cares. LOL) My hubby and I actually refuse to eat at expensive restaurants unless we are given a coupon or gift card or something like that. I have an addiction to Taco Bell, and on a related note, Dell Taco as well. Burger King is a place we go when we are loaded with coupons and McDonalds if we feel like a giant cup of soft drink suicide. (I always suicide my drinks. Quirky side note question for ya: Do you mix your soft drinks too?) So....do ya? Huh? Do ya? I'll bet you do. Okay, even if you don't, that's okay too. I want to know because I have an inquiring mind.

I dont but not because I would not Kristie. It is mostly about money. But I would love McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King and used to be Wendys. I refuse to frequent Wendys as they were so cruel to my dear nephew when he worked there. But yes, I like fast food. DQ (Dairy Queen) and Sonic would not be off my list either.

Dairy Queen is a particular favorite of my husband's, but we seldom go there as it is outrageously expensive. Once a year they have free cone day. Yup, you guessed it...we go to DQ about that often. hehe

@Novelangel When I lived in some small town, they had the best DQ ever in the world it has got to be! The ice cream there could have won awards and it was so freezing cold yum!

While I don't go there as often as many, or as often as I would have about five or ten years ago, I still head to the fast food places. I know it's bad for me, but hey....if I avoided things which were bad for me, I wouldn't have much to do. In the end, I don't think the problem is going to these places. The problem is doing it every single day, and twice on weekend days. Don't really know how people do it, but not because of the health reasons, but because of the cost reasons. Everything goes up, except the money in my pocket. Such is life.

Yeah, I hear ya. My hubs and I only eat from the dollar menus if we can help it. Most of the fast foods have them now and we know exactly which ones are worth it. hehe.

I used to go to fast food restaurants but haven't been to one in quite a long time ever since I was diagnosed with type II diabetics. No more sodas, hamburgers, friedfoods " so long old friends I will see you no more." Now if I go out to eat it is at a restaurant that has food made for me and others like me.

Yeah, unfortunately the food at these places is not the healthiest for human consumption...yet you would be surprised how many diabetics I run into in those places. Just a few days ago, in fact, I met two diabetics in Taco Bell, one who is dying from heart disease as well. I guess not every diabetic is as diligent and as fond of life as you. Thumbs up to you!

My favorite one is Wendy's. I just love their salads. Their hamburgers are good, too. Taco Bell is good for their quesadillas and soft tacos. I'm not sure what you mean by expensive restaurants. It's nice to go to them from time to time (maybe once every few years) because the ones I've been to really pamper you. You're right, it is expensive. It's best to go to any place with a gift card or money you earn online. I don't mind to talk to people about eating out. Why would you be embarrassed about it?

@Novelangel Well they probably go to them as well. Wendy's has $2 off coupons on each receipt. You just have to do a survey. The one by our house lets us use two coupons on an order so it can save some money. Maybe I need to visit Taco Bell more, I love their Catina bowl.

@callarse1 Ooh, I didn't know about the 2 dollar off coupons. I will have to think about that for the future. Thanks for letting me know. Yeah, Taco Bell is awesome...and since we are regulars, going in at least once a week or so, they sometimes give us free drinks so we can save money.

Hi Scott. I'm not embarrassed by eating fast food, but there are a lot of people who make ugly faces when I mention it, like only mongrels would eat in such places. My hubby likes Wendy's but that is one of the higher-end fast foods, so we seldom go there. I prefer Taco Bell as you can get a lot of food for your buck.

Yes, I do eat fast food, and maybe I eat it to much. Our Walmart has a McDonal'd in it, so when I go to leave the store, it seems like McDonald's keeps calling out to me, to come and eat. I do like their food though, so that is one of the reasos I go there. It is convenient to have McLDonald's in Walmart.

We used to have a Subway in our Walmart but they closed it down a while back. We ate there at least once but that's okay, I can get subway in a variety of other nearby locations anyway.

Actually I don't know when was the last time I have eaten fast food. It has been years now. It used to be when we traveled we would make a quick stop at Burger King, McDonalds, Taco Bell. Those places you find off the interstate. But hubby refuses to eat in them, so it would be me and kids that would eat, and hubby would just sit there til we were finished. Now that the kids are grown. We just bring snacks with us to munch on during the trip and once we get where we are going then we will eat at a 'sit down restaurant'.

When my hubby and I were dating he refused to take me to a fast food place because he thought he had to impress me. A man saving money impresses me quite a bit. hehe. He knows that now, so he doesn't have to try so hard.

I honestly don't like most of it very much, especially since they all changed to "healthy oil" (lol). The fries aren't good now, and they hurt my stomach. I'd rather skip the burger joints during the week and wait to have a nicer meal out with my husband on the weekend, personally. But, I have nothing against other people eating fast food if they enjoy it.

Yeah, I often wonder what they put into the food they make and I quite frequently get stomach issues out of the deal, but it does make life a little easier on me from time to time, as I don't have to cook.

I don't get too many fast food meals from any of the above because they don't deliver. Our fast food poison of choice is Domino's Pizza, because they do deliver.

We have about five bazillion pizza places around here. Every last one of them delivers. We have these little pizza delivery cars zipping around like they were shot out of a cannon, all trying to get to their destination within such-and-such an amount of time. LOL. They can be a menace sometimes on the streets.

I do sometimes but usually only once a week or sometimes every 2 weeks. I must admit I really enjoy it if I'm really hungry even knowing that it's probably making me pile on the pounds. A little of what you like does you good! I'm UK so we have some different fast food places here. My favourite is Wetherspoons.

That's cool. What type of food do they serve in Wetherspoons? Hamburgers?
