For fans of Jake Gyllenhaal. Not sure how old he was when he starred in this film. Looked like a teenager. The film has a typical storyline. Something devastating or catastrophic is going to happen on earth, and the guy who has all the answers is the very person that nobody listens to!!

Yes. Dennis Quaid played the father. But I just thought Jake Gyllenhaal was a cutie! This is one of his roles when he was really young.

I saw this and remember the library scene and the book burning. It was very significant. I liked the movie when I saw it. And I love Jake..he is good in all I have seen him in.

I haven‘t watched that film, but the story about Heart Libraries interests me .They say a film starring Jake Gyllenhaal called "Nightcrawler" was a huge box office hit .

I think it was a good movie for that time. I don't know how that movie will do now. But most likely there are not many movies tackled on such topic. there were few on hurricanes though. but not something like this movie. also the acting done in this movie is so great it feels good to watch. also the events within the movie are good to watch as well.
