my aunt's very good friend passed away this weekend. he had a heart attack in the middle of the night. i didnt know him very well but its still shocking because we did all have dinner back in the spring when she came to visit. he seemed to be in fine health, he must have been in his 50's or early 60's. he had a family. its making me realize that every day truly is a gift and so are the people closest to you. give everyone you love a hug today.

It just demonstrates that we don't know what's coming, so we should make the most of what we have.

I lost, both my favorite uncle, and my college best friend this past year. it's been a hard one for many. -hugs- And you are right, each day could be anyone's last.

We need to stay in touch with our good friends and family because you just never know when something could happen to them. Think how bad you would feel if they were gone and yoiu had not kept in touch with them.

It is very unsettling when a dear one with whom you joked or laughed, is no more.I lost a young and bubbly cousin, six months ago to a heart seizure. Till this day, I can feel the numbness of that loss.

I'm so sorry about your aunt's friend. It is always hard when someone passes away but when it is totally unexpected, it's even harder.
