Press the button only once!

When I am on a bus it amazes me how many people press the button for the bus to stop, so that a cacophony of "pings" sounds along the bus between just about every stop! Once should be enough, folks!
Likewise, you only need to press the button once at a pedestrian crossing or to summon a lift - pressing it again might make you feel better but has absolutely no effect on the electronics in questions!
