Are you now less likely to buy a diesel car?

We have heard today that Volkswagen have admitted that they cheated on exhaust emission tests, to the effect that millions of cars passed the test when they should not have done. This means that many car buyers bought diesel-engined cars thinking that they were less damaging to the environment than has turned out to be the case.
Are you therefore minded to avoid buying diesel in future, or would you go ahead anyway?

I suspect a lot of other manufacturers are in the same boat (a sail-boat!). No, I will still buy a diesel car, just I'll be less likely to believe the quoted emmissions ratings. If my car tax cost rise because my car is 're-rayed as a result of these shennannigans, I will be less than pleased though.

I'm more a fuel economy person, and less about emissions, although I'll trust car manufacturers a little less.

I'd have converted it to run vegetable oil anyway
