you ever sit and watch commercials, and wonder what were they thinking when they came up with names for what they're selling? you can buy food at "graze" clothes at "dress barn" and now,"udder covers" for breastfeeding women,so it doesn't get sore. um.. there's a theme here. personally,i wouldn't be caught dead in a clothes place with the word "barn" in it. or any product that seems to connect us to livestock. don't care if it's a baaaaaaaaaaaaargain.

On the other hand, I don't think twice about going to a "Hut" to buy a pizza! I agree, some trade names do sound bizarre. Whoever at Nissan thought that a good name for a new model would be "Note"? Presumably to be followed by "Paragraph", "Phrase" and "Sentence"?

I guess some people actually used the product designed for livestock udders and it worked really well; better than what they had for humans. So they want us to know it is that good of a product; better than what was designed for humans.

I guess it doesn't really bother me. As long as their isn't any profanity in the name.
