How do we upload photos?

How do we upload photos to go with our posts? I clicked on "add image" and it seemed to upload but I don't see it anywhere.

Ivy leaves, public domain picture from Pixabay.
There is a maximum size for a picture. If it does not load, try to rescale it to a smaller size (I rescale mines to 1024 768 and it works). Any photo editing software can do it.

@1creekgirl It has to be a jpeg, and the maximum size was around 250 kb in the past.

You said you tried it again and it loaded but I don't see it. Was it another post? You can use edit if you want and upload from there. I tried it on one my posts and it works fine.

@1creekgirl Yes I saw it really good condition, it was a really nice photo, thanks for sharing it. I left a terrible comment though - was too deep in thought duh.

When I add a photo to my respnse or comment, they end up posting sideways. I don't know why, but at least they show up. It might be I have to change something to get them to post straight up and down. It is fun to post them nonetheless.
