Working one day out of seven

Tomorrow (Friday) I will be working from 7am to 4pm as I do every Friday. Sometimes I think it was easier when I worked 3 days per week and had some continuity. However, I retired and took up this one day, (my penance?) Which means I wont be around on My lot for a few days, because after Friday comes the week end with all its offers and delights.
Happy Friday every one, and I will be back soon

For me every day is Sunday, but I see that I have a spring in my step doing what I enjoy most - taking pictures and gardening.

How I envy your lifestyle!
Over here in Singapore, people are simply working too hard and working too much.
Even old people like to work.
I think they want to work to avoid taking care of their grandchildren.
i know of many old people in their 70s and 80s who are still working full time. It is their second or third job after official retirement.

Hi. When your people retire do they get a pension from the State so they don't need to work anymore. Over here we have a pension for retirees. Still, sometimes it is hard to give up work especially if you love what you do. My son left to go to Singapore on Friday for a holiday. We really love it

@glenniah I often hear many people are busier once they retire than they ever were when they were working! Don't let them take advantage of you though! Only do what you can do and you are comfortable with.
