Why Blame God

Why Blame God? According to the word of God, [the Bible] man is indeed a free moral agent that freely makes his or hers own choices. God has given man the right to choose between what is right and wrong, between good and evil. To be able to make decisions that will effect his or hers own life as well as the lives of others. Why is it then when we make a wrong choice and have to suffer from the results or effects of that choice we tend to blame God? God did not intend for us to live in a disease stricken world where sickness, death or any other unnatural way of live occurs. In the beginning of time as we know it God had made a perfect world where there was no death, sickness, or disease. We were to live in a perfect environment until mankind made his first wrong choice. To sin against God. We release harmful toxins into the air we breath, into our water sources. We use harmful chemicals in our soil, and on our plants to produce a better or larger fruit or vegetable. We raise tobacco for the purpose of smoking and chewing, and choose to use it. We use harmful preservatives and additives in our foods. Due to these choices that are made by a few many are effected with some type of disease, sickness or even cancer leading up to a painful quick death. Yet we blame God. Many including children are killed, injured or have lost a limb due to wars or terrorist threats because of mankind’s greed, hate or anger toward another person, country or anothers beliefs. This not only happens in other countries but within our own schools, communities and cities. We live in a sinful fallen world away from God yet we have a tendency to blame God for our own actions. Don’t get me wrong. I believe that going to war is necessary at times to protect the rights and freedom of others as well as our own. I have heard so many times people blame God when someone that they know or love is killed or injured in an automobile accident. Is it really Gods fault that someone decides to drive under the influence, drive to fast or decide not obey the laws set before us? Once again because of the choices that one makes innocent people mat be killed or hurt for life. Did you know that the choices that we make are not always our actions? We can also hurt our friends and family as well as ourselves by the words we speak. Proverbs 18:21 says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue. And those who love it will eat its fruit” James 3:10 says “Out of the same mouth proceeds blessings and cursing. My brethren these things ought not be so” We even have choices to make within our family and social life. Oh he hurt me, so I think I’ll return the favor and get even. Or do we choose to forgive? Should I have an affair or should I stay faithful to my spouse? Should I take this new job which requires more time and weekends at work or should I stay where I’m at to spend more quality time with my family? Should I say mean and hurtful things to my friends and loved ones or should I speak love and encouragement into their lives to build them up? So many times we make the wrong decisions concerning our friends and family and we see friendships deteriorate, marriages end in divorce, our kids on the street with the wrong crowds using drugs and getting into trouble. We see our friendships and families in turmoil and once again we pass the blame either to God or our friends or even another family member. Why does it seem to never be our fault? We kick God out of our Government, businesses, schools, homes and lives. Then when someone gets cancer, is killed or injured in a war or terrorist attack or car accident. When our friendships and families fall apart we ask. “Where was God” “How could He let this happen.” God has always been there looking in. We need to put God back into every aspect of our lives, seek His face, ask for His wisdom and guidance, put our trust in Him alone. God does not sit on His throne in Heaven looking over the earth to see who He can zap or pass judgement on. He is a God of love, mercy, compassion and forgiveness. We need to stop blaming God and start thanking Him. Put the blame where it rightfully belongs on ourselves or our enemy the devil known as Satan. John 10:10 says “The thief [Satan] does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” So how can we trust in God in a world where there is so much death, suffering, evil, choas and sin? In a sinful fallen world where we seem to be heading for self destruction. First we must make the most important decision of our lives by making Jesus Christ Lord over your life and accepting Him as your own personal Savior. Our hope as believers in Christ are not in the things of this world, but in Christ Jesus. This life is just a vapor and will soon pass away. But eternal life with Jesus is ever lasting with no more pain, suffering, tribulations or death and can only be obtained through Jesus. Jesus says in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” Confess with your mouth, believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for all your sins. Past - Present - Future. That on the third day He arose and now sits at the Fathers right hand interceding for you. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins. Ask Him to come into your heart. Accept Him as your Savior. Make Him Lord of your life. “For God so loved the world [meaning you and me] that He gave His only Son [Jesus] that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 This Decision Is Yours

yeah! why blame god?! he has nothing to do with all your mistakes/problems. he gave you a brain and a heart and other internal organs for you to use it right. now its not god's fault if you cant do the right thing.

So very true each person made their own choice and now they have to live with the choice that they made.

The problem is that people want to be autonomous, but they also want God to prevent all evil in the world, and you just can't have both.

It's great that your open to other's opinions. Know this that God loves you so much He sent His only Son into this world to die on the cross for all man kinds sins so that we could spend eternity with Him, if we believe in Him(Jesus). He is only a whisper away.

@kayshope Yes it is up to us how close we are to Him. He never moves it's us that does the moving. I must admit I am like that I am probably like a roller coaster. Sometimes I am too busy being busy. I have to deliberately make myself slow down and take time out to be with God and I try to make time every morning to be in His Word (the Bible).
