The Paranormal World

I am sure there are a lot of you who believe in the paranormal. A subject that has an evergrowing interest throughout the world. I am speaking about ghosts, demons, shadow people, life after death, possessions, hauntings etc. Over the past several years I have been studying Demonology and Parapsychology, as well as becoming a Paranormal Investigator. I have always been interested in the subject(s) since I was a small child, and have also had many experiences when I was young; and still do from time to time. As I delved deeper into the subject of the paranormal, I actually had gone on a many ghost hunts, and its nothing like you'd see on TV; as a lot of it is staged, even though they are using correct devices such as EVP's, infrared cameras, EMF meters, etc. On a ghost hunt, an investigator would usually have to go on site many times in order to actually see anything, as sometimes it takes time for anything to happen. For what you see on TV, the investigators would have probably been on set for many days up to a few weeks even before anything major enough happened for it to be good enough for broadcasting. So if you ever go on a ghost hunt, don't expect for anythiung to happen right away, only those lucky enough will get that experience. Manly, do not be disappointed or feel discouraged. I will be posting a lot of subjects on the paranormal throughout my discussions. Anyone is free to express any concerns, ask questions, and even share their experiences with the paranormal!

I have stepped into ghosts before. It's really cold. I'm familiar with demons and demonic energies as well as a number of other things. My family is tied to the supernatural through ESP and other natural senses. My past lives are tied to the greater circuit of all that just be being who I am.

Interesting! Feel free to post any stories that you have! What kind of ESP does your family have? I would assume Mediumship of some sort or Clairvoyance? What kind of past life did you have?

@blaqwynter,I do believe in the paranormal.I have experienced some inexplicable incidents at my home.Just a couple of years back my mother saw a woman cooking something at our kitchen at around midnight. She could only see the woman's back.Everybody in the family was fast asleep. My sister-in laws, sisters and all others had already had their dinner. The next day when my mom asked asked everyone in the family, but all were clueless as to who the woman could be.The most strange thing was that the utensils in our kitchen were found used and scattered here and there. We still don't know who the woman was. I have many experiences of such inexplicable incidents.

Wow very interesting. I have seen some weird things such as knives be thrown across the room when there was an argument between my mother and her boyfriend; obviously this was back when I was a child. That was when I had my first taste of the paranormal when I was five. Lights turned on and off, things would go missing and reappear in random places, the cat and dog would freak out for no apparent reason, or the dog would just bark in the middle of a doorway. The cat would either bolt out of the room or just follow it's gaze around the room. You'd feel cold drafts, books were thrown at me to encourage me to read them. Yes, I was often tormented, however this "poltergeist " activity may be along the lines of parapsychology, in which as usually children experience this sort of activity. However if it wasn't just me experiencing this poltergeist phenomena. My mother had seen things too, so when studies state in "parapsychology" that only children experience a telekinetic phenomena when it comes to so called Poltergeists, I would have to say yes, it can happen when the young have this psychic ability, but yet the demonologist part of me also says poltergeists exist. As for the ghostly woman figure you had witnessed, I too had seen things of that sort except in the bedroom of an abandoned haunted property. I had the treat of carrying a half an hour conversation with an old lady stating she used to own the property, and it was taken away from her, sold, then abandoned. It's a unique gift to beable to see such entities!

@blaqwynter Children have the abilities we all should have. Unfortunately we lose those abilities because of the rule-based society we have, and abilities aren't trained. My cousin's daughter was playing ball with a group of us in a circle when she was around a year, and she was rolling the ball to each one of us. Then she turned to the empty space where none of us were and deliberately rolled the ball there. She blinked her eyes several times when it rolled out of the circle. I think she was seeing someone that was there and trying to play as well, and passed them the ball, and blinked when it went through them.

I believe there are certain entities with us but the truth is that I prefer not to think about it. the reason is that I'm really scared and I can'[t watch tv shows like paranormal activity

I have seen a lot of videos on youtube. I learned that often those are fake. very few of them are genuine and people ignore that. I can tell you that it is really not that easy to spot what is genuine in paranormal world. it does however makes me feel unsettling about the stuff some times.

Sadly, people on YouTube ruin it. They are only looking out for fame. Hollywood does the same thing, they blow everything up in proportion. Like for example; Amittyville Horror, A haunting in Connecticut and other films. Much of it is fake! To experience anything genuine, try going to a location just yourself or with a buddy where a tragic event took place.

I also have spoken to ghosts. I once stayed the night at a haunted location. I boldly fell asleep not experiencing any activity at first, so I assumed to call it the night. I went to get up to go to the bathroom that night several hours later; I come back to the bedroom and find an old woman sitting at the end of my bed. I stood in the room, frozen but not feeling any fear. I boldly crawled back into bed knowing it was a ghost, keeping my eye locked on her we had a deep and meaningful conversation. She told me she used to own the house that she haunted almost a hundred year prior, but someone had took her land, sold it, and now it was abandoned land. An interesting conversation carried on for over half an hour between this seemingly 80-90 year old lady.

I have never had a ghostly experience myself, but I don't doubt that ghosts, spirits, demons and other aspects of the paranormal are real. It's an interesting and fascinating subject. I enjoy watching the ghost hunter shows, but I also realize that those types of shows are created more for the entertainment value rather than the scientific value. Still fun to watch though!

A Lot of people I find become skeptic of the subject due to lack of scientific evidence and shows like Ghost Hunters only provide entertainment for fame. And yes, the subject all in itself is an ever-growing interest all over the world!

@blaqwynter I'm definitely not a skeptic, I believe that stuff is real!
