What separates true friends from acquaintances?

True friends would never leave you as long they can if you need help while acquaintances just there when things are smooth. Knowing true friends and acquaintances take a lot of time. Time will tell what they are.

@flippish2014,I have a huge friend circle,but true friends are only three.Imagine,only three from among about 500.And these three are time tested friends.I always found them on my side whenever I was in trouble.Recognising true friends is really tough.It takes time.
