Now a days.....on-line shopping is safe or not?

These days all the people are running to buy anything online at a very cheap rates....
On-line shopping from well known sites such as Amazon, eBay is absolutely safe or not?
Is it better to don't shop with a site that doesn't have well known security processes in place?
Some cases as if we go to a website which we don't know about and is not trustable could have malware in them or they can enter our account...
Shall we trust a newly created website for on-line shopping?

I think for those ONLINE SHOPS you mentioned they are safe since they are legal and i'm pretty sure that they would not risk their company's reputation for stupid mistakes about purchases =)
But nowadays not only those sites are popular but also aspiring online entrepreneurs from social sites like IG or FB which should be careful with. In my case I only but products from a trusted friend and whom I know personally.

It is safe if you do it on sites like amazon, flipkart and few others. make sure you have HTTPS on the address bar while you shop. Also make sure your debit or credit card asks you for the OTP before the purchase. and make sure that you have heard about the site and it is decently made.

Yes, you are right if you still doubt with online shopping. because it is risky. To reduce the risk you should choose the credible online shop. I think Amazon and eBay is safe for shopping. It is credible online shop.
