How many times have you taken a flight?

I can count the flights I have taken in my lifetime on the fingers of two hands. The first three were in 1977, for a work assignment - London (Heathrow) to Warsaw, Warsaw to Moscow, Moscow to London. Then there were two pairs to attend weddings - East Midlands to Paris and back, and East Midlands to Edinburgh and back. Finally, in 2006, I went to a conference in the United States, so that was London Heathrow to Baltimore and back. That makes 9 flights in my lifetime of 63 years, and I don't plan to make any more in the near future. If everyone stuck to this sort of schedule, global warming would be a lot less severe than it is!

I have flown exactly twice, and would prefer not to ever fly again.

Ships and trains are always to be preferred to planes and just for the sake of the atmosphere. Flying is just a horrible experience.
