Have you ever caught in embarrass situation? Whenever I tried to talk in front of lots of people I became cold-feet. It is so embarrassing to handle those situations. Share your experience.

I guess you have stage fear? The best solution will be to stand in front of a mirror and give a speech daily. I never did this, but then, I don't have cold feet when in front of an audience. :)

The first time I had to speak in front of a large audience I started out very weak voiced but as i went on I wouldn't have even needed a microphone. After that first time I was fine and not weak voiced at all even at the beginning. I just looked out over the people and found a spot to talk to and that did it for me.

I do not have such problem in speaking in front of crowd or in a meeting. I speak with conviction. Once I went to a training course. There we were asked to make a presentation. I asked the coordinator of the training programme - "Ours is desk job, so will it help to give presentation to the class." He said once you have done such kind of things (e.g. presentation or extempore speech etc.) it will enhance your self confidence. You should also practice in front of a mirror and then you could speak in a gathering. Don't feel afraid what others will think about you, they are all like you. If you commit any mistake when you are speaking, do not bother, everyone commit mistakes. Remember that while speaking - you should speak to the point and simple language may be used. All the best.
