Since 2012, I've become fond of knowing myself. I've started to read Psychology Books and I feel happy about finding my inner peace. Now, From the Personality Tests I've taken by Myers-Briggs, I always end up with either INTJ (mostly) and INFP (rarely) personality type. Being an INTJ, I enjoy being this type. I mean, I can't do anything about it and I personally think that the description fits me. Also, it was said that INTJ's are the most open minded personality type, so I'm quite happy about that. A Weakness I saw within myself was that, I tend to be stubborn. When I believe something, I'll believe it till the end. No words can shake my resolve whenever I decided on something. I am a bit of a Perfectionist and it only makes things difficult for me. I am proud of it though. Even If only 2% of the population of the world comprises this personality type.

According to one quick online test, I am supposed to be an INTP-A, whatever that means, but another test says I'm an ISTP. Some years ago (before I retired) I was classed as an INFP like you. I tend to be analytical, good at logic and language but rather bad at social interaction - I can do one-on-one well but I can't address a group to save my life! When I did a proper Myers-Briggs test many years ago, I came out as being the 'Ideas Man' in a team situation. I can often come up with good, practical solutions but I lose interest in them quite quickly when it comes to the implementation.

Wow. That's great. My tests always show INTJ and it would result to INFP for like 2 times. Out of all your results, which one do you think suits you the best? BTW, I also feel like that whenever I am in a social situation. I am awkward with social gatherings, but whenever I am on a one on one conversation, I'll talk the ear off of my listener.

@khhhaaaat I'm not sure which profile fits me better. I think that sometimes I'm one and sometimes another, depending on the situation. It is useful to some people (mostly in work environments) to have classifications like this because it helps build effective teams by making sure that they contain a balance of personality types. It's not actually very important or relevant to know what any one person is classified as; it only becomes valid when you are comparing people within a group. It may be slightly useful to help you understand personally where your strengths and weaknesses lie but it won't (or shouldn't) allow you to change yourself into another, 'preferred' personality type Since I'm now retired, I'm rather out of all that now. I am what I am!
