Making money on myLot vs. Hubpages, which one pays more?

I am new to this site. In the past Hubpages has been my favorite writing site where you can earn money. I have spent about ten tedious hours writing my seven articles that I have published on Hubpages. On average I am making only 5 cents a day passive income. Yesterday I used only ten minutes of my time on myLot to write a short discussion thread and comment on some other writers pieces. I made 15 cents and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. In my opinion money is made easier on myLot. Ten minutes of my time doing something that is easy and uplifting and earning some pocket change is pretty good. I also received some insight from other awesome myLot writers which is priceless! Money is money and it all adds up. This web-site is awesome and pays well for having fun!

The place where HubPages beats sites like myLot is in passive income. Although I probably average writing an HP article only about every three or four weeks, with 70+ hubs each continuing to earn a bit every month, my income on HP is far greater than what I'm seeing here.

I used to write regularly on Hubpages then stopped, although I did not delete my account. I recently started writing again and received a regular small income by so doing - a few cents a day. However, I have now stopped again because I have not seen any increase in my income by virtue of so doing. I am still getting the few cents a day that I always did, and this seems to be based almost entirely on articles that were submitted several years ago. With MyLot, although the amounts earned are higher, it appears that you have to keep active in order to keep the pennies coming in. A busy day of writing and responding will reap decent rewards, but if you slacken off, so will the income. I don't mind that - it sounds like the right thing to happen.

very true, you have can fun here and make money, while in hub pages it is like a writing site and you have to submit your hubpages there, though you have an interaction part but not much fun over there, it is like machanical

I know I'll earn a decent amount on HubPages, because I have a huge backlog of reviews I'm reposting there. It's easier to earn on MyLot, but I cannot get money based of previous posts on here, only from new posts I'm writing. With HubPages, I can earn from articles I wrote a long time ago on the site.

Hubpages is like writing articles and whereas mylot is like debate, you need not to hit your head and worry about what to write here in mylot, you can write anything as the thoughts comes in, it is like open forum, discuss anything and participate in as many as discussions / threats as you like

Never wrote on Hubpages but I can see how this can make you wonder. Ten hours is a huge chunk of a day.

I did hubpages and it is cool. The downside is that you work too hard for little money. If your writing and grammar is good, try the content authority. They are a pretty decent website.
