Do you have a recipe which you can call your very own?

I have a few recipes which are my creation, of which cabbage salad is the easiest.
Just shred the cabbage as fine as possible preferably using a grater, marinate it in salt for sometime, squeeze out the water, add curds treated with mustard and ginger paste. Add onion rings, sugar to taste. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Your salad is ready.

Yes, I make many recipes I call my own. I have been cooking from scratch for many years. That is how I was raised. I learned the basics and experimented as I grew older. Some not so good, others were a hit.

Wow, that's an unusual recipe!
What are curds? I like to fry together chopped potatoes, carrots, onions, and cooked bacon. Then I top it with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. Yum!

It sounds yummy. I like my cabbage salad with green apple if I have it around. But at the end of the day, I cook with what I have around so recipes are always changing.
