The Fuzzy Chilly Hot World

I have a cold. The kind that makes me sit at my desk and whine. It sounds funny because "my nothe ith thtuffy". I feel dizzy. I feel hot. When I get hot, my eyes feel hot and the world looks fuzzy. Sometimes, I think it's cold. It probably is, I know it's cold and rainy today. Sometimes I feel hot but want to throw a blanket over me because I am cold. The world is fuzzy, and chilly, and hot. I am having some apple cinnamon spice tea, which is a comfort drink. I know it must smell and taste heavenly. Too bad I can't smell or taste it. What's your comfort drink or food when you 're sick?

I never heard of bayleaf tea. Do you just steep bay leaves?

@Rollo1 yes. Be VERY careful with this one, since bay leaves aren't exactly good for a person. you steep the leaves then remove them, only sip never chug. It really does help with tummy aches. Pepto and stuff doesnt work for me, this is the only thing I have found that does.

Eating toasts and drinking some tea is good for me.

I made some scones and put honey on them. It's good for you, so I figured it was a health choice.

I'm more likely to wait for it to get better, but this was really bad and I needed my sleep.

I love to drink ginger and lemon tea with honey when I have colds. If I have lemongrass, I'd boil some and use it instead for tea. Hope you get well soon!

I've got a cold too, but not as bad as your by the sound of it. Mostly just a stuffy nose that dribbles as well.
