Today at our Church is Blessing of the Animals, at the end of the mass our priest, will bless our pets with Holy Water and sprinkle it on them. Today there were many pets, a lot of dogs and 1 bird that came for the blessing. Have you ever taken a pet for a blessing? My dog is getting older, and I wanted to do this for her. Blessing of the animals is being observed and celebrated in commemoration of St. Francis of Assisi, who is the Patron saint of animals. Here Catholic and non catholic have this blessing for pets, have you ever heard of this? do you take your pets for a blessing?

Wow!! That's certainly a great thing. Afterall our pets are like our family. I have never heard about this before though. You definitely should have taken your turtle.

@CookieMonster46 love the mention of various booths. I am a big foodie. I love gorging on new delicacies. This place sounds fun. Would love to be a part of it, hopefully.
