Finding gaffes in your posts

Someone kindly sent me word that in a recent post I confused British Prime Minister David Cameron and famous movie director James Cameron. Doh! Easily fixed on the edit options but have you made any such blunders in any of your posts? Arthur Chappell

It's natural to commit mistake . I have once committed a mistake here at one of my posts , of typing Bubblews , instead of Mylot . Someone jokingly pointed it out to me , i immediately edited it .

I may have done, but if I have then I am not aware of them yet. I had to look twice at the title of the post because I wondered what a Giraffe would be doing in your post.

I looked at the title myself then just to be sure I hadn't said giraffe instead of gaffe - fortunately not

@arthurchappell No you did not, but that was what it appeared to me at a glance.

I probably did a lot of blunders but nobody corrected me.

I'm not sure, since nobody pointed anything out, so far. I guess it's normal to make such mistakes when writing. Good thing the edit button solves the problem!

I'm not sure that I have made that sort of blunder - although the country might be in safer hands if David's distant cousin James was in charge (who knows - they might be related!). Mind you, would you really be confident in the knowledge that the man directing the fortunes of the nation had previously directed Titanic? That said, I do appreciate the Edit feature for correcting typos.

The obvious sense of our country heading for an iceberg at a Cameron's hands may give the gaffe some ironic significance.

Not yet, as far as I know. Probably because I don't know the names of many famous people LOL
