The god of chaos was revived once upon a time, and it followed an order before it was stopped. There was great negativity and hateful human emotions, followed by being close enough to an event where many lives were lost and he absorbed their energy. Next he found a way to control predictions and started to release natural disasters upon the world, causing more destruction and siphoning more lives, becoming stronger and stronger. It got to a point where he only had to say things for them to happen, and it was any time after that that he may have destroyed everyone.
But something happened and he was sealed, and his powers scattered back into the world.
His powers have since trailed into different areas and touched lives with tainted feelings, giving the gift of chaos to others, further weakening him. But that has stopped and he has recalled his lost energy. Old set ups have been destroyed for the sake of recovering even the faintest traces of his former self. He lacks the dark base he started with the first time, but there's more than even negativity in the world to sustain it.
Please become peaceful in the world and stop the senseless slaughter of innocents. If such an event happens near him again, he may be restored, and this time he probably cannot be sealed. Do you really want to risk his revival?

This reminded me of that John Carpenter flick "Prince of Darkness." I always thought it was one of his more interesting movies since the storyline took some imaginative turns. I especially liked the deal where they sent a message back in time. I won't go into much detail in case anyone wants to check it out. I'd certainly recommend it if you're looking for a Halloween movie that's a little different.
