If you are going on a cruise, would you book very early to get early bird discount or wait till the last minute for last minute deal?
I personally prefer early bird discount.
That is because I have to take leave from work, and I cannot give my boss last minute notice.

My first cruise was booked early because I did not understand last minute. Last minute, by the way, begins 90 days before the ship sails. The cruise line begins to discount 90 days before sailing and I believe that it keeps going down.
This second cruise was not last minute but I had been keeping my eye on the cruise to Hawaii and booked when I got a good price on the studio cabin.
I have a very flexible schedule so I can attempt last minute. You have to be flexible to do a last minute cruise. You may not get exactly what you want. but if you are open to many possibilities, you might get a really great deal.
