What is the scariest thing you have done so far?

I think the scariest thing that I have done so far is planning to travel alone in a foreign country. It is because I know it is not easy especially for a girl like me to travel alone. From the Philippine immigration up to the country itself, I know that there will be many challenges. But I guess, because of the loneliness that I felt, I was able to save up all my courage and finally decided to try a thing that could be considered dangerous too.
Do you remember a thing that you did in the past that made you scared?

I do scary things in my dreams - walking on narrow bridges with water underneath and the bridges have no supports.

I used to have that same dream @allknowing and usually the bridges descended slowly into the water into a submerged city and I would drown. This is why I do not like to take a ferry.

@drannhh Oh my God!! That is scarier
My dreams are also loaded with exertion, or getting stuck not knowing where to do.

I have been in a lot of scrapes, but I think the scariest was when a group of people tried to mug me on the street as I was going in to work in San Francisco. I usually do not carry much money but that time I had $300 in an inside pocket and I pretended I was deaf and held out some small change that was in an outside pocket. I knew that if they found out I was "holding out on them" things could have gotten even uglier, but at the time I could not afford to lose that cash. Fortunately, they decided I was harmless and perhaps destitute because they did let me go, and disdained to soil their hands with my loose change. I decided that job was too dangerous and got alternate work in a better neighborhood.

@annierose On that occasion I had on my work clothes, and no jewelry. Probably that helped.

I am glad that trouble did not find you during that time Dr. Ann. As for me, in order to avoid bad people from stealing my money, I just dress in a simple way. I do not wear any jewelries at all and I just have ordinary phones. I know nobody will think I am rich because of what I look like.
