Yes, I am supposed to be writing a news page for the women's golf club in my community, and it is due at the office before 4 pm, and now it is almost 2 and I haven't started.
I have SO much to do and should not be here on myLot, but I do love this place and have been away too long! Yes, I am still having some technical difficulties getting on here and doing the things I want to do. So, shame on me, I have been spending the very little time I have had over on BlogJob which I did not know about until just a few days ago. The appeal of that site is that it seems to me to be highly intuitive and so far almost everything works for me whether I am on my smart phone or my laptop or any one of the various tablets lying around here.
I thought I finally had the ability to post discussions here on myLot from my cell phone, but then I learned that instead of creating new posts, my new text was replacing old discussions. It overwrote the text and the photos, but kept the comments, which now, of course, do not make any sense in the new context.
Another thing I like about that other (newer?) site is they have a minimum of 300 words to start a discussion, and as I can be a bit long winded, I don't have any trouble meeting that. Here people sometimes tell me my posts are too LONG. Yep, as a cyber friend says, it is a different crowd...so far.

some're purty much simple one line statements, aint they? i know...i'm still snarky 'n oughta jest stayed hidden under my still unfinished quilt. big hugs!

cute palm! lucky gal ya can get such to live outdoors. this's the only device i've got, so can't be'f any assistance with yer troubles. i've a dumb phone 
300 words's jest a walk in the park, 's i'm windy like yerself. actually, i'm a bit put off by the one'r two liners that many seem to submit here??? jest begs the query 'f why bother to me.
sounds's though ya jest didn't 've the heart fer that golf thingy. i fear i don't write well under pressure 'n why i've fought off folks thinkin' i need a blog 'f my own to tend with. jest the thought've dribblin' with a schedule jest turns the brain to utter mush.
best'f luck to ya with yer new venture 'n hope ya managed to get that article turned in timely 's well.

@crazyhorseladycx We just play for a smallish amount of money in the golf thingee, but I win more often than not, which is a cheap thrill, eh? Yeppers, I am the lucky one and luv that little palm impersonator. It is actually a member of the lily family, with a deceiving name. Glad to C U here.

Like you I find this addictive and would access it whenever I'm online. However, I am surprised to learn that we will be overwriting our old posts when we try to post with our mobile devices. This must have been dreadful discovery for me as it is for you. Anyway, thanks for the heads up here.
I do hope that you are not going to get over stressed here and that you would be able to get your publication punctually,

This is a place to come if you want to relax and have a laid back kind of conversation. I know exactly how you feel as even I come here more than elsewhere

Some of us tend to write longer posts, so I think you'll fit right in with the crowd migrating from bubblews. I joined blogjob right before joining here and although it's cool to be able to start blogs I find I don't get the interaction there that I'd like, so I'm spending most of my time here instead.
I don't see how you'd replace old posts when writing a discussion if you're not editing an older one. Maybe before you press the write screen you need to clear your browser of your own posts and open a page with someone elses post first.
