My second interview for work in two days. This one was for a call centre in Denton, Manchester.
It proved to be awkward to get to though easy to find as it is a call centre set off the beaten track, approachable under a motorway flyover. It was a two hour bus ride each way away for me.
After being kept waiting for twenty minutes and double booked with another candidate (though I was seen first) my interviewer was unimpressed by my targets for a previous employer so I could see I wasn’t going to impress him. I told him how my journey was too gruelling and that I’d decided the job wasn’t for me. He agreed.
I headed into nearby Hyde for lunch and to get some photos, and later visited the library to renew my books.
I caught up with my writing and edited my photos, finding a file of wedding photos I still had to edit too, so I did those as well. The bride, groom and their Pagan priestess minister are in the photo enclosed here.

The pay was pretty basic though good salesmen would do well on the bonuses - I'm not that good.
