My second interview for work in two days. This one was for a call centre in Denton, Manchester. It proved to be awkward to get to though easy to find as it is a call centre set off the beaten track, approachable under a motorway flyover. It was a two hour bus ride each way away for me. After being kept waiting for twenty minutes and double booked with another candidate (though I was seen first) my interviewer was unimpressed by my targets for a previous employer so I could see I wasn’t going to impress him. I told him how my journey was too gruelling and that I’d decided the job wasn’t for me. He agreed. I headed into nearby Hyde for lunch and to get some photos, and later visited the library to renew my books. I caught up with my writing and edited my photos, finding a file of wedding photos I still had to edit too, so I did those as well.
