Do you realize that by cutting your daily expenses, could save you a lot? Here's my personal experience. Softdrinks (Soda) - I used to drink up to 3 - 8 0z bottles a day (PHP 10.00 x 3 = PHP 30.00) or I'd buy one 1-litter bottle (PHP 30.00) 30.00 x 30 (days) = PHP 900.00 x 12 (month)= PHP 10.800 a year Gourmet coffee - PHP 40.00 per cup 2 cups per day : PHP 80.00 x 30 days = 2400 a month x 12 = PHP 28,800.00 Beer: PHP40.00 per bottle. On the average I used to drink at least 2 bottles a night. That's another PHP 28.800.00 a year well with these three alone I could have saved PHP 68400 a year. Good thing I don't smoke. If I invest that amount in mutual funds or stock market, I could have been a millionaire by now. Have you thought about this?

Ordering a drink when you dine out is one of the culprits. I usually orders a water (which is free).

It is a good thing that you have realized it already and you can change things. I used to use my coins that i get for change to buy funny stuffs but then one day i realized those coins can add up to something and so i started cutting out on things i buy with my coins. Now i can save them or i add them to buy something important

yeah... I wish somebody taught me about this a long time ago... or if everybody else knew about this then no one would complain about not having enough money anymore!

@jrlcentral They say experience is the best teacher and now that you have learnt it will be easier for you to follow the saving path and maybe teach someone as well.

@Missmwngi yup. I'm doing that right now. I still have to work on my list though. Thanks. :)
