Ever Swam Up on an Octopus Bigger Than Day?

Here on the islands it is part of life in the ocean that you meet up with all sorts of sea creatures. The other day I was snorkeling with my best friend and we came upon an octopus right in front of us. Normally you don't see too many of them just enjoying the warm water and sun. But today we were lucky to get a picture of this one.

@Missmwngi Thanks - stay tuned there are more to come. Here people say you can easily get island fever and feel closed in. For me it is paradise and each day brings a new adventure.

I would never want o come across an octopus. That would be scarey.

No actually if you keep your distance it is actually quite amazing. They are as scared of you as you are of them. The one thing you need to remember is don't get too close because they can spray black ink in the water and this blocks your vision for a while.

I like Octopi. I really want to see the land variety though! They are really cool.
