will you keep in mind unfinished business on the holiday?

A customer replied me on Friday last week , he hope me give him the quotation on FOB term. but as i need to deal with other things ,i didn't reply him yet .it is always in my mind , so i must have completed it today. i know that it will affect our image in the mind of customers for replying late ,i feel sorry that i couldn't respond promptly, i didn't on purpose , it is beyond our control , would the customer understand us?
