do you eat in front of the tv/computer?

I have this stupid tendency of eating in front of the computer/television.and this is a really really bad habit because is making you gain weight

Even I have this bad habit of eating in front of a tv. If there's a power cut sometimes I wait till the power is back so I can eat in front of the tv.

Why does it make you gain weight? How is sitting in front of your computer different from sitting at your dining table? I eat in front of my computer everyday. I try to be careful not to make a mess and I never leave liquids near my computer. I don't want any accidents that could damage my computer.

researchers got to the conclusion that you gain weight because you don't pay much atention to how much you eat because your mind is distracted by whatever you might be doing/watching at the computer/tv

My TV time and my lunch time coincide. It's my break from the computer time, too. So I get a sandwich or something, and sit and watch TV. It is my relaxation.

I do not eat in front of the TV or computer. I go into the kitchen and fix a meal and eat it there.

My kitchen overlooks the den which has the TV. Since I do most of my work at the kitchen table I can't help but watch TV while I eat or work
