I am invited to my eldest daughter´s home for diner. I have to teach them to cook a crabmeat pie and, as mother knows all, I got ready for it. Little did they know that, when I invited them for such a treat at my home, I Googled different recipes, decided what to use and eliminated what I did not have around. That´s the way I cook and it ends up being a gourmet dish. I even copied then the use of the big claws (translation?) over pies after I placed the meat in clay pots to serve I´m taking some cooking wine as I´m sure them don´t have it

You are right! After all, they also keep secrets from us.

I think I'd rather enjoy your crabmeat pie. We don't have a lot of crabmeat in New Zealand, but I do love shellfish and seafood.

We have different kinds of crabs here. I prefer the least expensive one.
