My son has been cleared to return to work!!

Wow - I just mentioned him and my daughter heard from his wife who said he was cleared to return to work, but that he did have a shattered wrist and elbow. Since he's a supervisor, he doesn't do as much physical labor as he used to, so he can still go back to work. Not sure how he'll drive one-handed, but I know he's happy to be able to go back. I guess the C7 vertebra turned out to be a minor issue, thank God. I still worry about his scalp, but he'll probably have to wear a wrap of some kind before putting his hard hat on. Don't want oil, grease and dirt getting into the suture lines. I'm so happy he wasn't hurt any worse than he was. It's a miracle, actually, considering how many people don't survive running into deer, especially not elk! Thanks to all who sent good thoughts and prayers to my boy!
