Experiencing Telepathy with a Cat

Telepathy is a kind of communication of thoughts and ideas brought on by other means than the known senses. For a couple of weeks it was getting to be rather spooky. Whenever I was about to call my cat Sid for feeding or some other reason before I knew it there he was meowing at me. Well when it continued to happen I started wondering if perhaps in some strange way my cat and I were experiencing telepathy. What I think finally convinced me was when I was sitting and watching a movie and I got to thinking that perhaps I should go out and call Sid because the night was so very windy and cold. Before I could do anything about it I heard a meowing behind the bedroom door and there he was. What do you think? Could it be possible for my cat and I to communicate in this way? My own photo of Sid

I think cats are very mysterious. They are also very observant. My cats always know when it's time to eat.

No I don't, but your cat knows when it's feeding time so it's not surprising he's there then. The other instances you give - I'd put them down to coincidence

It is sad there are so many who associate coincidences with something supernatural

@allknowing I don't know about the supernatural but my cat can be a bit spooky at times.

I don't believe in telepathy. But for animals it's only the bonding that you have with him that makes him be there when you least expected. He can smell you and his senses are higher than us that's the very reason why most animals know where to go home using their sense of smell.

@Tita417 you're probably right because so often when I have set out food for him he has been somewhere nearby and suddenly pops in the kitchen window.
