The picture shown here belongs to me and it is a red cardinal wind chime hanging in my Mountain Ash tree in our backyard. It was given to me by one of my dear girlfriend. I love to hear the sound it makes when we have a gentle breeze outside. Do you have a wind chime in your yard?

Wow I love it. I dont think I have ever seen such a pretty chime. I wish I had a chime here but I am only in apartments and I am sure neighbors would be fuddy duddies about it.

Thanks, I think you are right about the neighbors being upset about it.

I do own wind chimes, but since we live in such a rural area I don't hang them outside because it gets so windy and they make too much noise as a result. I like to be a good neighbour and I know that when my neighbour hangs hers out too early in the spring, those late winter/early spring winds blow the chimes and sometimes it bothers me.

No we don't - my husband can't stand the noise of wind chimes. My mother had one that was about 4 feet long and that thing sounded like a church organ.
