Which is the best antivirus for windows 7 or 8?

Now I am using os 7 on my desktop since 2 years... I have loaded kaspersky antivirus 2015 internet security for best results... Sometimes I am getting trouble with that antivirus.... System runs slowly.... Some programmes halts suddenly...like more and more... Let me know one any other than a best virus removal tool for my use.

Kaspersky is a well-known and respected AV program. Others which are generally good are Avast, Avira and Panda, all of which have free versions available. You may install several AV programs but you should not have more than one active at any one time or you will be likely to experience slow running and hangs from time to time.
