Spoiler alerts – Season one – episode 5 The first episode to visit The Cheesecake Factory restaurant where Penny works as a waitress. The episode also shows the return of the frosty Leslie Whittle, in a second date and clinching relationship with Leonard in which once again she rejects him. There is a sense of Leslie realizing how much Penny is attracted to Leonard too. Sheldon does not yet use his obsessive triple knocking technique when knocking on Penny’s apartment door. The OCD driven practice was not introduced until later episodes. There are no sub-plots for Howard or Raj here. The friction between Sheldon & Leslie will resurface in many later episodes. @arthurchappell I have really tried to watch but it never fails.I wanted to watch a film quite desperately and not even making it to the first murder each time. Three times I tried without success so in the end I put it on my computer and hey presto I managed not only to watch it all but also watched the out takes too!

yes, I agree the last season was a little weaker as it is more concerned with soap relationships than the humour at present
