Guess Where The Playoff Game Will Air Today!

I love baseball, and I especially love it that the Chicago Cubs are one of the final four teams. This could be the year (as was depicted in Back to the Future) where they could finally break that 107-year drought! The thing that bothers me, however, is how difficult it is to find the playoff games! It's a case of "guess where the playoffs will air today," with MLB carrying a game one day and TBS having the game the next day. The Fox network carried the Royals/Blue Jays game yesterday; today, it's on FS-1 (which is a network that a lot of people, including my brother, don't have, so they're shut out from watching the game). This is actually becoming a trend. This year I noticed that there were five different networks (CBS, Tru, TBS, TNT, and CBS Sports Network) carrying the NCAA tournament games. Yes, that's good for the people who are rooting for St. Mary's Barber College and can actually see their team get pummeled by Kentucky, Duke, or North Carolina; however, it is frustrating for people who want to find the games. Especially considering the fact that the overwhelming majority of hotels do not carry all of these sub-sub-sub-sub networks (like FS-1 or FS-2). If you're traveling and want to watch your beloved Royals today, you're most likely out of luck. And that stinks. It's not good for baseball, either: most people who can't find the game give up looking and say, "What the heck, I'll watch the college football game instead," which in the process kills ratings and the associated revenue money for baseball. I yearn for knowing where the game is going to be, not guessing which one of four different channels might be running it.

Yep, I haven't checked yet to see when the Cubs are on. Once I find the time, it will be a crap shoot to see if I can find it.

It is on TBS tonight at 7:30 I am guessing Eastern Time as the Cubs are at the Mets in Citi Field.

I'm hoping they can take three out of three at home. If they don't go back to New York with a 3-2 lead I don't think they have a chance.
