Craigslist can be a source for jobs (if you are careful)

I have a retirement hobby of acting, not in plays (takes so much time), but in commercials and even some films. I got my very first job from a Craigslist ad under the "talent" heading. I played a sheriff in a short film being made for festivals and was paid $150. Since then, I check the "talent" heading almost daily. Today, my wife will coach a tai chi student who advertised in the talent section last week. The woman is a student of my wife's teacher, but her schedule conflicts with class times. She mentioned the teacher's name in the ad. It is a temporary thing, but she will pay $20 for each one hour coaching section. Anne will also get the benefit of doing the extra tai chi "24" series. Since the teacher is aware of the situation and knows the woman, we feel okay about any safety issues. I also have the name, address and phone number of the student.

I think there's a "job" section in Craiglist as well as "services" where people offer services for a small fee. I've never tried using Craiglist for anything, maybe I should check it out and see if there is anything that is of interest to me.
