The seasons are changing, are you ready?

For my area, summer is slipping into fall, which will shortly slip into winter. Fall is never long here. I have to get the yard mowed one more time, clean the gutters, and get some fence repair done, among other things.
What all do you do to prepare for the changing of seasons? What needs done before winter comes? Or spring, or whatever your season is changing too?

You have a lot to do, I have nothing here to do. When I moved to the States I gave everything up in the UK including my home, currently staying with friends.I believe everything been done ready for winter. Autumn here in the UK is beautiful with beautiful autumn colours.

we aren't. And honestly i wish someone would write a homeowners for dummies guide for us, so we even knew of things we need to do so we could do them before things broke.

I know . . it is getting cold here in Alberta. But did you not read about the forecast for the coming winter? It will be a warm winter because of the gigantic el nino! O, I wish it will be a real warm winter.

eh El Nino affects areas differently, down in Texas we got told colder and wetter...which means more ice and snow than this area is ready to handle

I need to finish cleaning the summer weeds up, and then wash the jackets. Maybe break down and get a good pair of waterproof boots, since I have seen the predictions for this year

I need to get mine done in the next week, so it's done before it's too wet (falls and winters can be wet) to get done). May have to work some on it tonight. at least the temps are better

Nothing much to prepare for .
