I tend to listen to more male singers then female. It could because the music I listen to seems to relay a message, and who knows subconsciously I think they might be singing to me.

@TexanTornado That's what it means to be in the public eye. The only ones that didn't seem to care about looks was KISS. They cared, just not in a normal way!

I could probably list 30 some bands with female singers that I like songs from and only list 10 with males. Although give me longer and the list would be 4 times that on both accounts.

Song preferences do change from song to song, but I get tired of listening to men singing after a while, but I like listening to the women. Perhaps because I imagine that they are singing fondly of me? :P

@Jessicalynnt If I listen to too many guys singing then I get hostile. Of course if I go there I'm already in the rock genre, which is fun as well. But I don't want to get fired up when I'm at my computer unless I'm writing a war aspect to my stories.
