Holiday Craft Shows and Bazaars

Knitted Bath Mitts
United States
October 19, 2015 5:55pm CST
This is the time of year during which people gather at different places to sell their hand crafts just before Christmas. I will be participating in a few of them in November where I will have knitted and crocheted items. Last year, I did the same shows and did pretty well for the first time selling at these shows. I didn't get rich by any means but I did enjoy myself. I had bath mitts, cup sleeves, crocheted/beaded bracelets, wash cloths, and a few other items in my inventory. I still have some left over from last year but I will be adding hooded scarves, fingerless gloves, and some hats to the inventory this year. The first show is going to be in 26 days on November 14. The second show will be the following Saturday on November 21. I can't wait to get all set up for these shows and to see what all else other people will have at the shows, too. The photo is of some of the bath mitts I made. I took the photo with my LG phone camera. I will be sure to take pictures this year, too.

A I really appreciate the sentiment. The bath mitts are really easy to make and takes only a couple of hours to knit. And then sew up the side seam and thumb seam.

Yes, it does keep me quite busy. I like to knit or crochet while I have a movie going on YouTube. I also go to knitting group a couple of times a week. That gets me out of the house.

I love the colors of those bath mitts! I've been wanting to set up a booth at the local craft fair selling handmade soaps, but never really got around to do it.

I used a variety of colors with the cotton yarns that I got. "I Love This Cotton" is from Hobby Lobby and I got "Sugar N Creme" from Walmart. I had been wanting to set up a booth, too, for a very long time and last year I just went ahead and did it.
