Dear friends As I have embarked on a Bachelor of Laws with the University of London, I have decided to share simple and complex cases with you. You will then be requested to provide your views on how you would have done justice to the cases and I would then provide a clear picture of how, through the application of the right legal doctrines and principles, judgments are reached in a court of law. I will however be referring to the English Law. Here's the first case: If X runs after Y threatening Y that he will kill him, and suddenly while running, Y dies out of a heart attack, who is the criminal? How would you judge this case? What factors would you consider? Do you think X is the criminal as per law?
