Why Is Donald Trump Keeps Leading In The GOP?!

I just could not believe it! He says outrageous things and yet lots of Americans seem to like the cocky billionaire. Why I say he is liked by Americans? He maintains his lead since the beginning of the campaign. He claims Senator McCain is not a hero. He thinks Florina's face is not that beautiful. I think she beautiful! He sees Jeb Bush as "low energy" like an overused flashlight battery. Yet he is not going down in the polls! But one thing that I totally agree with him - all illegal immigrants should be sent back to the countries they come from. Right?

I think he hit the nail on the head about that woman's face, she's as cold as stone. People like Donald because it tells it like it is.

That is certainly part of it. We all pretend that things are great when they are not great, and finally, someone is shining a light on it.

Honestly I don't know what they find in him.. I don't like Jeb or Hillary either. Maybe his non political background is what makes him see like a breath of fresh air.. but he is so unpolished to be handling international affairs. He cannot seem to contain his own mouth.

It will be sad not to see Hillary Clinton not get into the White House if Trump wins

@ThankyouLord I must admit I'd prefer Hillary to Donald but obviously I'm in no position to vote

@antonbunot If you knew what a lot of us know about her, you would not like her in the least.

My mother was born in Canada, I don't want to send her home. My grandmother came from England. My husbands father came from Portugal he was illegal until he fought for the US in World War II. I think immigrants are the life blood of our country and if allowed to be legal most would chose to be. We all come from immigrant stock and not all our ancestors were invited to come here. I think we have much bigger issues to deal with. Donald Trump is not my favorite by a long shot.

@antonbunot Yes but as I said, there are probably plenty of us whose ancestors were not exactly legal. My Irish ancestor does not show on any arrival list, many jumped off the ships to avoid detection. I just think each case is individual and most immigrants are just here for a better life.

No, I think Donald Trump is talking about ILLEGAL immigrants, most especially those from Mexico. I believe he is right that illegal immigrants should be sent to their respective countries and to apply for immigration legally.

Humm sorry I don't follow a lot of american politics or stuff like this. But from what I know or have read of this guy he is something else and doesn't care much what others seem to think.

No. That would be ridiculous. Who would decide who goes? Who would support their citizen spouses and children? Who would do their jobs? Go rent the movie, A Day without A Mexican.

@antonbunot Treat them as individuals. You know, the net increase over the border in the last few years has been zero. The same number leave as enter.

People like him because he represents the non-politician. Everyone is sick of the same old same old and he offers an alternative. That being said, I would never vote for him.

American people want an outsider then! If the Donald would only put in a little finesse in his way of campaigning . . . he would be more appealing, I guess.

I think people just like his directness. At least he does not speak "political correct" speech. It takes courage, and it sure makes people feel that he is true to the core.

I don't worry at all . . whether he wins or loses it is fine for me. But it would be nice to see a change in American politics . . an outsider winning the presidency.

He does not take contributions. He is running completely on his own money.

He is just a loud mouth. Other than stating that, I don't discuss politics on social media. I met Ivanna, his first wife. She was a complainer.
