Useful things to do with the computer or mobile phone

I have a computer, but, to be honest, I burn a lot of time on it, watching useless videos, playing games and etc.
I know I can use my computer for a lot of better things, for example:
1) I can use an Excel or other alternatives document to make a table to save information about the groceries I buy and to keep tracking the date I bought the vegetables, the expiration date, location in the house maybe...
So, before something gets too old, I will use it instead of taking to the garbage.
2) I can make a table in Excel that contains financial expanses and earnings, so I can manage my money better.
3) I can earn money online. Like we all do here.
4)I can watch and read guides online for things I want to learn
5) With the GPS I can get anywhere I want without losing my way.
Any other suggestion and thoughts about it ?

I'm sure there are more useful ways to use the computer, not just to earn or save money.
What do you mean - the start doing it...- ?
Can you suggest any good use for the computer ?

@Tita417 Playing the games can sure be fun, but, other than earn some money, it doesn't help in the real life. I'm looking for stuff to do that will help me when I'm offline later. Do you know what I mean ?
For example, I can watch some prices of things I want to buy, and see the best price and the best quality instead of going to many stores and writing down prices...
I can pay bills online, I can buy things online to save me time.

I have done infinite things with both my pc and mobile that I can never forget. My virtual world says a lot and my mobile saved my life when I had with with a road accident.

Hmmm, that's good, but, those things can take a lot of time if I want to do them well. I'm looking for stuff to do with the computer to help me with things I need away from keyboard. Do you know what I mean ?
Can you suggest for example anything I can do with the computer when offline ?

As we all do, i too use it to make money online. haha i feel pity for my friends who always play games and spends there potential time tom nothing.

You are right, playing games burns a lot of valuable time one can use to do useful things.
Do you earn a lot of money on the internet ? Does it cover the internet bills ? Is it worth the time spending earning it ?

@stringer321 I get enough to cover my internet bills for sure. And after that, i ean almost 10-20$ as savings every week from other sites.
