Recently I added a post about how you can add multiple images to your post. It went over very well and a lot of people were happy to learn this little trick. I feel like images can add to your comments and to your original discussion.
However, after this the discussion attracted some attention - I saw a lot of posts about images and how people are afraid to use images off the Internet. I saw a few post about people telling how they only use their own images.
Now today I am here to tell you how you can find free images that are 100 percent legal to use on here. Some of the information I’ll give you is for sites that offer free images at no cost, while others might charge you a fee. But the images are there for you.
Everyone knows about flickr creative commons and Pixabay so I’ll skip these. Here are a few fantastic images sources you might like to check out. Most of the sites require you to registers and there is a few sites who will send you free images in your email inbox each week. I love these sites because you can save all these images and use them again all over the Internet. They send them to you and now they are yours to use. That’s how some sites work. Here is a few sources I love and use now and then. You might want to check the out.
Free Images – This site has more than 350.000 free stock images. You’ll need to register for this site. All the images on this site have no restrictions and you can use them. I do love this site and it’s very simple to use. So if you’re worried about using images check this site out. You won’t have any problem with the images from here.
Free Digital Photos – This site allows you to download for free 400x400 pix images. It’s nice when you download from here because the photographer’s name is there for you. So if you like the image and use it - do the photographer a favor give him credit for taking the picture. I do. I feel it is only right because he gave me the image for free.
Morgue File – I love this site. This is a mix of all kinds of images. The only draw back on this site is they don’t classify images. You will need to spend some time searching though the files to see what you want. Each time you visit you’ll see new and different images. The images are donated to this site by the photographer and anyone can use them. Again if you see the photographer name when you download the image please give him some credit. He does deserve it because he gave you his work for free. http://morguefile.com/
OK everyone have some fun finding new and great images for this site. All free. I hope if you use one of these sites I gave you that you’ll always give the photographer credit in your post. That would be a great way to say thanks to him for taking the time to upload the image for you. Plus on top of it it’s free and you’ll won’t have problems.
