what all of you think about cell phones important in our life

i think it has become necessity of our life and it is very useful in todays life

I don't have any use for a cell. My cell is my room where I have my desk and PC. That is where I do all my computing. The only advantage I see in this thread so far was @shine25 for emergency but a red button that calls emergency services would handle that. The only other advantage is as @dodoazo said if you are an important person and need to do computing on the go. That does not apply to me.

@dodoazo I think cell phones are used a great deal more for casual use. Sometimes they are a time waste machine? They are something that distracts from social situations that are not welcomed. On a bus for example people ignore everyone by being on their phone. It used to be the newspaper. - that could be an advantage

Cellphone is very important to me because i used it almost everyday. In school , for emergency, for everyday life!,:)

As long as it has Internet, it is indeed very important, @chiru456! In my case, I can live without cellphone for I have an iPad. My cellphone does not have an Internet, my iPad does.
