I dislike most BBQ sauces, they are always too smoky flavored to me. I like a nice, mild sauce. There is a BBQ joint that sells their sauce, three levels: Sweet, hot, blow the roof of your mouth off! I bought a pint of their sweet (at 6 bucks a jar mind you) and it was very good. Too good as I was buying a pint a week. I did some research online and found a recipe that had just basic ingredients such as ketchup, sugar, apple cider vinegar and water. It had things I don't like such as garlic and onions, so I left those out. The first batch I made I was sold on this home made brew! It was as close to that $6 jar as I'll ever get. It only has a 3-week fridge life so I now cut the recipe in half and it works out fine. I love it on chicken mostly. It just goes to show that you you can find what you need or want online, you just have to kiss a few frogs and get a few bad batches of BBQ sauce before you hit the right one!

I do agree with you on this one. I have found some fantastic stuff on different sites and in the end I take 2 or 3 and combine them together to make them just right for me. You have an excellent point it only takes time. Not sure how many frogs you kissed but you must of kissed the right one to find what you were looking for. What a cute post.

You can find most anything online. All you have to do is look.
