Possible Test Case

I'm going to be out of town next week for training for a new job. It's possible they'll put me up in a hotel. On the other hand, I might have to commute back and forth each day, which means I'll lose an extra 10 hours next week.
If they DO put me up for the week, I will have time away from the family, time to fill. I'm thinking I will bring stuff to read and some pen-pal materials (more on that later). But, I also want to do some testing to see where my writing and connecting efforts are best spent.
I'm not one to put all my writing eggs in one basket, but I would like to know if I should continue to put any effort into trying to cash out on the B-site, grow my following here, and/or on PP.
I am open to suggestions/comments on how to go about testing, as well as other site suggestions to test out.

i'd dislike that commutin' back 'n forth, but'd not be fond'f bein' gone from home neither. i'd sure take me 'long plenty to do in the down time though...'r perhaps catch up'n some z's!
's fer the writin' thingy. search me, hon. follow yer heart 'n do what makes ya happy. i aint scattered to the winds huntin' places down. jest hung my hat here coz it got mighty lonesome't that other place. i query the longevity'f any'f these places 'fter readin' so much from others in their regards (e'en the 'big' writin' sites).

@Samanthavv I'm not sure yet. There are a couple others I'm thinking of testing too: My Two Cents and Write Edge (same owners). I've heard/read good things about those.
