Do monitor your daily and monthly expenses?

Let me go back to my favorite topic here in myLot... personal finance. Personal finance gurus teaches us to monitor our expenses. I have tried this several times in the past, I used a small notebook.. I lost it. I used a mobile app... The one I used seemed to be rigid, so I stopped using it. Until I found the android app Expense Monitor. I have been using it for a few weeks now. Though I admit there are still days that I fail to update it but I always try to update it. How about you? Do monitor your expenses? How do you do it?

I don't write anything down. I just watch my accounts and make sure things are about where they're supposed to be. I use a credit card for most of my purchases, so keeping track of how much I'm spending is easy.

Hmm. Maybe that's one advantage of using a credit card.
